During initial walkthroughs, we record structural dimensions, existing floor plans, and utility layouts. This data is kept strictly confidential and used only to ensure safe and accurate renovations.

3. Third-Party Subcontractor Sharing

Your project blueprints and necessary installation details are shared with our vetted subcontractors (plumbers, electricians) only to the extent required to complete their specific portion of the build.

4. Architectural Blueprint Protection

Custom architectural drawings and structural modifications engineered for your home remain proprietary and securely stored. We do not distribute your home's schematics to unrelated external parties.

5. Project Photography Usage

Before and after photographs of your renovation are taken for quality assurance. We will only publish these images in our portfolio or marketing materials if all identifying personal items are removed or with your explicit consent.

6. Smart Home System Integration

When installing smart security or automated home systems, we may temporarily handle network credentials for setup purposes. These credentials are purged from our records immediately upon project handover.

7. Material Sourcing Information

Information regarding your custom orders (such as imported stone, specific timber cuts, or bespoke cabinetry) is shared with suppliers solely to fulfill procurement requirements.

8. Renovation Budget Protection

Your overall project budget, financial estimates, and localized cost breakdowns are securely maintained and never disclosed to external marketing agencies or unauthorized personnel.

9. Warranty Registration Data

To ensure your new appliances, roofing, and structural elements are covered, we process your information with manufacturers exclusively to activate your product warranties.

10. Municipal Permit Applications

We process necessary property data to file for required building, electrical, and plumbing permits. This information is shared strictly with local municipal building departments for compliance.

11. Data Retention for Future Maintenance

We retain records of the paint codes, materials, and internal utility layouts used in your home. This allows us to provide efficient future repairs, touch-ups, or phase-two renovations upon your request.

12. On-Site Security Footage

If temporary security cameras are placed on-site during a major build to monitor material deliveries and crew safety, the footage is strictly internal and deleted upon the final project walkthrough.

By engaging with Home System Assistance for your design and renovation needs, you agree to the following operational parameters and project guidelines.

1. Scope of Renovation Services

Project deliverables are strictly defined by the approved final proposal. Any structural work, design rendering, or installation not explicitly listed in the finalized scope will require a separate agreement.

2. Design Approval Process

All materials, color palettes, and floor plans must receive final written approval before procurement begins. Delays in design sign-off will directly impact the project start date and overall timeline.

3. Project Timeline Variations

While we strive to meet all deadlines, timelines are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by extreme weather, supply chain disruptions for bespoke materials, or municipal permit backlogs.

4. Material Substitution Policy

If an approved finish or material becomes discontinued or heavily delayed, we reserve the right to recommend a substitute of equal or greater value, subject to your final approval before installation.

5. Client Responsibilities During Construction

The client is responsible for removing all personal belongings, fragile items, and furniture from the designated work zones prior to the arrival of the demolition or construction crews.

6. Structural Discoveries & Adjustments

If concealed issues (such as water damage, mold, or outdated wiring) are discovered after opening walls or floors, work will pause. These issues must be addressed to meet safety codes and will incur additional costs.

7. Change Order Procedures

Any mid-project changes to the design, layout, or material selection must be submitted as a formal Change Order. Work on the altered segment will not proceed until the Change Order is approved and signed.

8. Payment Milestones

Payments are strictly tied to project phases (e.g., demolition, rough-in, drywall, final finish). Progression to the next phase of the renovation is contingent upon the clearance of the previous milestone payment.

9. Site Safety and Access

Active renovation zones are hazardous. Clients must adhere to safety protocols and may only enter restricted construction areas when accompanied by the designated project manager.

10. Workmanship Warranty Scope

We provide a standard warranty on our physical labor and installation techniques. This covers immediate craftsmanship defects but does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper client maintenance.

11. Utility Disruption Protocols

Major renovations will require temporary shutoffs of water, electricity, or HVAC systems. We will provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice before scheduled utility disruptions affecting the livable areas of the home.

12. Final Walkthrough and Sign-Off

Upon substantial completion, a final walkthrough will be conducted to identify any minor touch-ups (the "snag list"). Once these specific items are resolved, the project is considered officially closed and handed over.
